Snowmobiling at RAINBOW RESORT

Rainbow Resort has always been a favorite destination for snowmobiling, with our resort being located on a network of hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails. Many of the trails are groomed on a weekly basis by the state and various snowmobile clubs.

In part because of our somewhat higher elevation near the headwaters of the Mississippi, we usually have relatively good snow conditions for most of the winter. This past winter we were one of the few areas in the state to have any snow. Our cabins are modern, complete housekeeping cabins and are fully winterized. We have snowmobile supplies including gas, oil, belts, etc. Our lodge is open during the winter and has a short order grill with a scenic overview of the lake.

Other Winter Activities

We also rent snowshoes, ice skates, fish houses, and ski packages. We offer a great sliding hill , skating rink, and snowshoe trails that are separate from our skiing trails.
